Congratulations to the Paul Mann Custom Boats teams for being a billfish daily winner, having the heaviest wahoo and for bringing in the Junior Anglers honors at the Pirates Cove Billfish Tournament held August 8-15, 2020

A nice shout out goes to the TENACITY, ANN WARRICK and TAIL GUNNER captain and crews for their achievements during the 37th annual Pirates Cove Billfish Tournament. There was a total of 41 gamefish including 25 yellowfin tuna, 14 dolphin and two wahoo for a combined total of 473 billfish overall. Aboard the 52-foot TAIL GUNNER, Twelve-year-old William Ramsey IV captured the Junior Angler honors with four billfish worth 700 points. Frank Adams brought in the heaviest wahoo aboard the 76-foot ANN WARRICK captained by Brad Diaz. TENACITY, 56-foot custom, was the billfish daily winner and the owners had this to say

ANN WARRICK, PELICAN and QUALIFIER on the Leader board and Title board at the 2019 Pirate’s Cove Billfish Tournament held August 8-14, 2019

Congrats to ANN WARRICK who reeled in the heaviest tuna weighing in at 114.6 lbs and second largest wahoo at 28.3 lbs in the 2019 Pirate's Cove Big Game Billfish Tournament. PELICAN was 2nd in the Billfish Daily on Day 4 with 600 points (700 total for the tournament!) and also had the 3rd largest dolphin at 22.5 lbs. QUALIFIER’s Charles and Brown Gaddy, fishing with dad Captain Fin Gaddy, were awarded the Junior Angler title releasing at the same time for a double-header on Day 4!

LO QUE SEA earns fourth place in the 2016 Pirate’s Cove Billfish Tournament, Aug 15-19

Congratulations to 58-foot Paul Mann LO QUE SEA, captained by Kevin Paul, for earning fourth place amongst 72 tough competitors, releasing 15 billfish, for a total of 1500 points in the 2016 Pirate’s Cove Billfish Tournament! Tony Huerto, owner of LO QUE SEA, says this about the tournament, “We always (have a great time), competing against the best crews in the world.” Six of those best crews were members of the Paul Mann family. Brad Diaz plus crew and team of Frank Adams, Joey Belton, Owen Maxwell and Jeff Reibel aboard the 76 foot ANN WARRICK for taking second in the Pirate's Cove Big Game Tournament with 11 billfish releases totaling 630 points! Congratulations also goes to the HOG WILD for the Top Youth Angler, Jimmie Horning and to the SNIPER for the Top Male Angler, Dan Stefano with scores totaling 350 points each! Paul Mann Custom Boats Named Cabinetry Category Winner in 2009 Veneer Tech Craftsman’s Challenge™ Woodworking Competition

PAUL MANN CUSTOM BOATS OF MANNS HARBOR, NC, was named winner of the Cabinetry category in the Fifth Annual Veneer Tech Craftsman's Challenge™ woodworking competition for the design and technical skill exhibited in the veneer cabinetry throughout the 76-foot custom sportfishing yacht Ann Warrick. The award was announced at the Las Vegas Hilton during the Association of Woodworking and Furniture Suppliers (AWFS®) Show held in Las Vegas July 15-18. The custom yacht builder was presented a check for $1000 along with a trophy, and the Ann Warrick will be recognized nationwide in print and electronic publications by both the boating
