A nice shout out goes to the TENACITY, ANN WARRICK and TAIL GUNNER captain and crews for their achievements during the 37th annual Pirates Cove Billfish Tournament. There was a total of 41 gamefish including 25 yellowfin tuna, 14 dolphin and two wahoo for a combined total of 473 billfish overall. Aboard the 52-foot TAIL GUNNER, Twelve-year-old William Ramsey IV captured the Junior Angler honors with four billfish worth 700 points. Frank Adams brought in the heaviest wahoo aboard the 76-foot ANN WARRICK captained by Brad Diaz. TENACITY, 56-foot custom, was the billfish daily winner and the owners had this to say

The PELICAN comes home!

The PELICAN, the 56' custom, was originally delivered to owner/operator Arch Bracher in April, 2000. He jumped onto the bridge and headed down to Mexico within a week of the delivery! PELICAN is a true testament of what a well-maintained sportfish can be. ANN WARRICK, PELICAN and QUALIFIER on the Leader board and Title board at the 2019 Pirate’s Cove Billfish Tournament held August 8-14, 2019

Congrats to ANN WARRICK who reeled in the heaviest tuna weighing in at 114.6 lbs and second largest wahoo at 28.3 lbs in the 2019 Pirate's Cove Big Game Billfish Tournament. PELICAN was 2nd in the Billfish Daily on Day 4 with 600 points (700 total for the tournament!) and also had the 3rd largest dolphin at 22.5 lbs. QUALIFIER’s Charles and Brown Gaddy, fishing with dad Captain Fin Gaddy, were awarded the Junior Angler title releasing at the same time for a double-header on Day 4!

Team QUALIFIER Aboard 56-foot Paul Mann Takes Second In 15th Annual Dare County Boatbuilders Tournament

Charter team aboard Paul Mann 56-foot A-SALT WEAPON reels in 877-pound NC record Bluefin tuna

Captain Dennis Endee with a charter team aboard the A-SALT WEAPON, a 56-foot Paul Mann custom owned by Greg Russell and Andy Purgason, achieved a new North Carolina state record with an 877-pound Bluefin tuna on March 17, 2018. Retired Army General Scott Chambers of Townsend, Delaware, reeled in the huge Bluefin after fighting with the fish for two-and-a-half hours off Oregon Inlet. It measured 113 inches curved fork length (tracing the contour of the body from the tip of the nose to the fork in the tail) and had a girth of 79 inches. The Paul Mann custom built 56-foot sportfish, A-SALT WEAPON held on to win the 13th annual Virginia Beach BillfishTournament, August 24-27, sitting at the Rudee Inlet docks for their required lay day during the final day of fishing to see if the team's lead was good enough for victory. Paul Mann Boats Dominate 27th Annual Alice Kelly Ladies Only Billfish Tournament August 14th 2016! LO QUO SEA takes first place!

The 56’ Paul Mann LO QUO SEA held the first place positon after a full day of action and tough competition from all 92 boats entered in the 27th Alice Kelly Ladies Only Tournament! LO QUO SEA, captained by Kevin Paul, racked up five sailfish releases, good for 500 points to win. Lora Whitehurst and Karen Kremser scored two sails apiece, while Amy McGurk added another. 56′ Paul Mann Custom QUALIFIER takes the win of the 2016 Carolina Boat Builders Tournament July 28-30, 2016!

The Paul Mann 56-foot QUALIFIER held the number one position throughout the 13th Annual Boat Builders Tournament, releasing a grand slam plus an additional billfish on both of their fishing days! The leaderboard also remained consistently outstanding throughout the event for all the Paul Mann boats! 18th Virginia Beach Invitational Billfish Tournament July 23rd-26th, 2014

The Paul Mann 58-foot SNIPER takes first place in the 2014 VA BEACH INVITATIONAL Billfish Tournament! This makes for two consecutive years that SNIPER has taken the first place win!
