Want to see a real sportfishing family’s dream? Take a look at these wonderful photos by Todd Reaves, selected from those taken during the family’s 83-day fishing vacation aboard their Paul Mann 65', Soul Candy. The crew included mom, Storey, the kids, William (15), Smith (9) and Isobel (7), as well as Todd’s father, Bill, plus they rendezvoused with good friends along the way. The Reaves fished 20 of the 83 days and caught 19 billfish including eight whites, 10 blues and a sailfish, and saw many, many more. How great was the fishing on the Reaves’ Paul Mann? Storey
Citing the incredible performance of Paul Mann boats and especially the great interior design and world-class woodwork, Salt Water Sportsman recently named the Paul Mann 65' as one of the top sportfishing boats of all time.
The 68-foot Paul Mann JICHI took 2nd place in the 2013 Custom-Shootout May 15-18 2013 in Harbour Island Bahamas! Congratulations! Also, to the 65-foot Paul Mann Soul Candy for a great showing!
"All three of my kids caught billfish on Saturday morning before 10:00am! We were fishing a junior tourney out of Orange Beach at the Mobile Big Game Fish Club. We had 7 (3 blues and 4 whites) solid bites and landed 3 – William (13) caught a blue, Smith (7 and it was his birthday) reeled in a white, and I 'helped' Isobel (5) reel in a blue." Nice job, William, Smith and Isobel! Todd also caught the action on video:
