Congratulations to the Paul Mann Custom Boats teams for being a billfish daily winner, having the heaviest wahoo and for bringing in the Junior Anglers honors at the Pirates Cove Billfish Tournament held August 8-15, 2020

A nice shout out goes to the TENACITY, ANN WARRICK and TAIL GUNNER captain and crews for their achievements during the 37th annual Pirates Cove Billfish Tournament. There was a total of 41 gamefish including 25 yellowfin tuna, 14 dolphin and two wahoo for a combined total of 473 billfish overall. Aboard the 52-foot TAIL GUNNER, Twelve-year-old William Ramsey IV captured the Junior Angler honors with four billfish worth 700 points. Frank Adams brought in the heaviest wahoo aboard the 76-foot ANN WARRICK captained by Brad Diaz. TENACITY, 56-foot custom, was the billfish daily winner and the owners had this to say

Captain Dave Grubbs and his ladies team scored six white marlin releases to take the first-place team trophy as the top boat for the 31st annual charity event. What a spectacular tournament for the 61-foot custom Paul Mann custom JICHI as the team brought in $120,000 during the Jimmy Johnson Sailfish Tournament held March 3-7, 2020.

Congratulations to the JICHI team for not only 8th place out of 98 boats but also the spectacular Day 2 win making a total of $120,000 with nine releases! The Paul Mann 60-foot custom GRAND SLAM hooked third place at the Pescadora Billfish Championship held February 20-22, 2020 in Quepos, Costa Rica

The ladies of GRAND SLAM received 28.6 points for the top catch of dorado, wrapping up the tournament with 17 sailfish (totaling 1700 points!). This bill fishing tournament, a mix of hook and hand/hook your own, gives female anglers from all nationalities and experience the opportunity to compete for the title of the World’s Top Lady Anglers!
